up-and-coming practitioners who will be at the top of their chosen specialties in the next
5 to 10 years. The result: 13 new kids on the block, ages 40 and under, who are making
names for themselves in a range of fields, from family medicine to pediatric
ophthalmology.

For one thing, they can age with you (if you’re going to a 65-year-old physician and
you’re 40, you’re going to be changing docs soon). And the young docs will
